City council approves pay raises for unionized city workers

AFSME union members working for the City of Decorah will be getting pay raises.

An agreement reached between the two sides calls for a 2.2 percent pay raise for union members in Fiscal Year 2014; a 2.2 percent raise in FY '15 and a 2.0 percent raise in FY '16.

The agreement was approved last week by union members.  The Decorah City Council unanimously approved the agreement Monday night.
